波の器 「water wave vessel 」
A vase made of layered glass sheets. The deep colors of the black and indigo ceramic glazes and its gently swaying form give the impression of the nighttime sea.
黒や藍色の釉薬を用い、夜の海をイメージした、緩やかに揺らぐフォルムの器。
故郷飛騨ではあまり接しなかった海も、金沢へ住んでからは身近になり、よく足を運びます。山とは違う、風や、川とは違う、深い色合いなど、違いがたくさん。
この器は海に思いを馳せて制作しました。
本日からはじまります、iiSU Art space 香港での展示会へ出品いたしました。
